NEVRlabs was created by Alice House Hospice to raise much-needed funds and build a community of gamers and non-gamers alike. From aspiring esports professionals to tabletop players, NEVRlabs is somewhere you can call home.
There is plenty of parking available in Middleton Grange shopping centre car park and in the surrounding area.
At NEVRlabs safety is our top priority. We conduct pre-game temperature checks and ensure hand sanitiser is readily available throughout the building. We have replaceable face coverings for the VR headsets and ensure each unit is thoroughly cleaned between uses. As an extra precaution, we use a UV box to clean the surfaces of the headset that make contact with your face.
Absolutely! We have a range of gaming experiences and our helpful staff is on hand to help you traverse the exciting world of VR.
Though you need to be at least 8 years old to play our VR experiences, we have experiences for all ages at NEVRlabs, including our esports & PC gaming room! We ask that anyone under the age of 12 be supervised by a parent.
For beginners, we recommend you book an hour slot to allow time to try out a range of games and get acclimatised.
Certainly! Visit our ‘parties‘ page or get in touch to learn more about what we have on offer. Call 01429 85540 from Wednesday – to Sunday to speak to the NEVRlabs team.
Though we do not offer refunds for missed bookings, we may be able to transfer your booking to another time slot subject to availability.
Advancements in virtual reality headsets and games have made motion sickness a lot less common! If you are prone to motion sickness we have a range of experiences, from comfortable to intense.
We do accept walk-ins however, to avoid disappointment, we recommend that you book your spot in advance!
You will need to complete our client agreement form in our reception area before your NEVRlabs gaming experience begins. If you are under the age of 16, a parent or guardian will have to complete this form for you. You can complete a Waiver prior to your visit by downloading a copy here.
12-7 pm, Monday to Sunday!
